About Us

Hello!

 My name is Laura, mum of two energetic little ones, a country music lover, travel enthusiast and someone who's usually in bed by 8:30pm (no shame!). I love yummy food, great wine, and catching up with friends.

Coming from a hospitality/events management background, I have always had a passion for bringing people together over good food, and then 2025 happened to turn into a "life's too short" year... and so Salt & Sage was born! 

Growing up on our beautiful south coast and spending so much time on the beach has impacted this dream. There really is nothing better than being sat on the beach listening to the waves, whilst eating some delicious food. I'm extremely passionate about creating memorable experiences, I love designing these set ups and can truly say they come from the heart.

 FAQs

  • We typically serve charcuterie boards, either standard or our "elite" version. Or we have a breakfast grazing board, all available for takeaway. Vegetarian options available.

  • We are happy to provide gluten/dairy free options, however please note all food is prepared in a kitchen where allergens are usually present, so therefore we cannot guarantee that they are 100% gluten/dairy free. The same goes for nuts.

  • Unfortunately we cannot provide alcohol, but we do have a soft drinks option available!

  • We have a really great spot located at the end of Southbourne promenade, with stunning views of Hengistbury Head. However if you have a special place you'd like the picnic, as long as it is semi accessible for us to set everything up, we can be flexible with location! We are also happy to set up your picnic in the comfort of your own home.

  • When booking your picnic we are happy to reserve two dates for you, in case we get some bad weather for your chosen date. If both dates happen to have bad weather, we are more than happy to refund you and you can book again at a later date.
